Meet the Principal

Mrs. Andreason holds a Bachelor's degree from Eastern Oregon University, a Master's degree from Lesley University, and a Masters's in Administration degree from Concordia University.

Principal Andreason has been in the Hermiston School District for the past fifteen years. She taught fourth and fifth grade at Rocky Heights Elementary and joined Sunset Elementary faculty as the Dean of Students.

A Message from Principal Andreason:

"Being a building principal allows me the opportunity to impact both staff and students. My hope is to inspire staff through a collaborative professional learning environment that allows all of us to continue to grow in our practice, impacting our students and families. 'Education then, beyond all other devices of human origin, is the great equalizer of the conditions of men.' Horace Mann."

Outside of education, Mrs. Andreason enjoys spending time with her family, husband Marc, and their two children, Rileigh and Ryne. They enjoy camping, backpacking, gardening, rafting, paddle boarding, and anything outdoors.
