To be eligible for enrollment into kindergarten for the fall, students must be five (5) years old by Sept. 1, 2021, or born on or before September 1, 2016. Parents/guardians may register students online via the district website (www.hermiston.k12.or.us). To locate the link, parents may click Registration Information under Parents & Community; then, Online Registration is a link to the right. The direct link is www.hermiston.k12.or.us/apps/pages/registration/.
Once the online information is submitted, parents/guardians need to take the following documents to the student’s school:
Student birth record (birth certificate, baptismal certificate, or passport)
Proof of Residence (e.g. a utility bill, mortgage statement, or original rental receipt with a manager or owner phone number)
Health/Immunization records
The district will offer in-person registration assistance on Tuesday, April 20, and Thursday, April 22, from 4 pm to 8 pm both afternoons. Families may call the district office at 541-667-6000 with registration questions or issues. The office is open from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Spanish translation services are available.
The student’s boundary school will be confirmed with home address, during the registration process. Hermiston School District elementary schools are:

Para ser elegibles para la inscripción en el kínder para el otoño, los estudiantes deben tener cinco (5) años antes del 1 de septiembre de 2021, o haber nacido el o antes del 1 de septiembre de 2016. El distrito ofrecerá ayuda para que haga su inscripción en persona el martes, 20 de abril y el jueves, 22 de abril, de 4 p.m. a 8 p.m. ambas tardes. Las familias pueden llamar a la oficina del distrito al 541-667-6000 con preguntas o problemas con la inscripción. La oficina está abierta de 7:30 am a 4:30 pm, de lunes a viernes. Los servicios de traducción al español están disponibles.
