As we approach tomorrow's 9/11 remembrance, we're honored to share a special opportunity made possible by the Oregon Army National Guard.
A Chinook helicopter will be on display for our community to visit, landing on the practice field at Hermiston High School around 5:15 PM. Community members are welcome to go and take a closer look at the Chinook, along with other military vehicles on site. The helicopter will depart before the National Anthem and fly over the stadium as the Anthem concludes.
We're deeply grateful to the Oregon Army National Guard for making this meaningful experience possible for our community.
